    Brief me about NGFCET?

    Where is NGFCET campus located? & How to reach NGFCET?

    NGFCET is located on Delhi-Mathura road, 72nd Mile Stone, Faridabad-Palwal (Delhi-NCR). NGFCET Campus can be reached by availing Metro facilities up to Badarpur Metro Station and from there taking a bus.

    How can I obtain an Admission Brochure?

    Admission Brochure contains a Scratch Card consisting of a covered number, which will facilitate submission of application form online. Admission Brochure without Scratch Card may be downloaded from NGFCET website www.ngfcet.com free of cost. However, application for admission shall be submitted online only at the College website for which application fee of Rs. 500/- is payable. Candidate may purchase admission brochure from NGFCET Campus, Administrative Headquarters or City Centers in cash, details of which is available on the college website.

    Are there any specific instructions for filling up the on-line application form?

    Read Instructions for filling up Online Application Form carefully on the opening page after you Click ‘Apply Now’ Tab on the NGFCET Website Home Page for Admission.

    keep ready copy of certificates for Secondary(10th), Senior Secondary (10+2) Examination and other qualifying exam (if any)

    Fill-up all fields with the correct information. Do not use all Capital/ Small Letters. Use Sentence case. Mandatory fields are marked with Red Asterisks, without which application will not be submitted. You will have the liberty to edit certain fields as directed by the format including Address, Mobile Number, and Qualifying Examination Result etc.

    Take out two print-outs of the final version of the online application form which must be brought at the time of physical counselling for admission.

    Do we need to submit the original certificates on the day of admission?

    No. There is no need to submit original certificates but candidate must produce original certificates/documents on the day of admission for their verifications, failing which candidate shall not be considered for admission. Two sets of self-attested copies of the certificates/documents are required to be submitted at the time of physical counselling as detailed in the admission brochure.

    What are the documents to be produced at the time of admission?

    Candidate must bring the following documents in original along with two sets of self-attested photocopies:

    Proof of Residence (Adhaar Card, Nationalized Bank Pass Book, Ration Card, Electricity Bill, Telephone Bill, Driving License)

    Secondary School Examination Certificate (10th)- as proof of Date of Birth

    Senior Secondary School Examination Certificate (10+2)

    Detailed Mark sheets/Provisional Certificate/Degree/ Diploma Certificate of the qualifying examination.

    Character Certificate from the Institution last attended.

    Result card of the relevant entrance examination.

    Four passport size colored photographs in formal dress.

    Certificate of proof as candidate of SC / ST, BC, OBC, Kashmiri Migrants, North East States (seven), Sports Personnel (with authorized participation at National Level), Son/Daughter of Defence Personnel categories and Foreign Nationals seeking relaxation in the minimum eligibility criteria.

    In addition to the documents mentioned above, all students will be required to submit following documents either during the orientation program after start of classes or within 3 days from the date of admission whichever is later:

    Certificate of Medical Fitness

    Migration Certificate

    Proof of Residence (Ration Card/ Electricity Bill/ Telephone Bill/ Driving License etc.)

    Undertaking by candidate and by parents for “Anti Ragging”, the format for which shall be available of NGFCET website

    Undertaking by parents for total family income from all sources along with proof of income in the form of current Income Tax Return/ Certificate of Income from employers of parent(s)/ proof of survey conducted by DRDA of the district concerned of the applicant or any other authorized Government agency/ any other valid proof (Original /Attested Photocopy).

    Any other document required / notified later.

    Is there any bus facility available in NGFCET?

    Yes.

    What type of transport facility is available to the users from various locations?

    The type of transport facility available differs from location to location, e.g- AC buses for Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida and Non-AC buses for Faridabad and Palwal.

    What are the transport charges for the said location?

    List of approved charges is available on our university website.

    What will be their route for different location?

    Tentative routes for will be as per current routes which are displayed on website but route for will be finalized only after the closure of admission procedure of NGFCET.

    How can the transport facility be availed?

    Firstly, a Transport Application Form will be filled duly signed by both, the Student and the Parent/Guardian, Two passport size photographs and Application No. will be required.

    The duly filled Transport Application Form should be submitted to the Transport Department for the verification and updation.

    Then after getting signature of the concerned official of Transport Department, the same should be submitted to CAD along with the applicable transport charges.

    Can the transport fee be deposited in parts?

    No, it is paid full for the whole session in advance at the time of availing transport facility.

    How can be the Transport Fee deposited?

    Transport Fee is accepted by only two modes of payment, i.e. Demand Draft and Credit or Debit Card.

    Can the transport facility be withdrawn?

    No, transport facility can’t be withdrawn except a) Withdrawal of Admission, b) Shifting of the residence to the place where the transport facility of NGFCET is not available, and c) Shifting to the Hostel of NGFCET.

    What amount will be refunded, in case the transport facility is withdrawn?

    Refund will be as per the Transport Refund Policy, as approved by the competent authority of NGFCET.

    What document needs to be carried by the student after depositing transport charges to use the transport facility till the final transport ID card is issued?

    Initially, a transport fee receipt will be issued from the CAD department to the transport facility users immediately after depositing applicable transport fee. This receipt will have to be carried by the user at the time of using NGFCET transport facility. Thereafter, a Transport ID Card will be issued to the transport users from the Transport Department on showing of the same receipt.

    How the information and any updates will be conveyed to the transport users?

    Any information/Circular, issued by the Transport Department, will be displayed outside the Transport office as well as in every bus of each route. Information may also be conveyed through the Notice Boards of the respective Institutes.

    Is there any clause of Fine and Penalty?

    a) In case of default in fee payment on time, there is a Late Fee Fine, which is charged only after getting the approval from the competent authority of NGFCET.

    b) In case of any indiscipline in or around bus or transport system or within the campus, disciplinary action along with the penalty may also be levied. Transport facility may also be terminated for such student without refunding any fee.

    c) In case, the user is found travelling by NGFCET bus without carrying the valid transport ID card, he/she may be penalized.

    d) In case, the Transport ID Card / Fee Receipt is misplaced, some amount of duplicate Receipt/ ID Card is charged along with the FIR/ Affidavit on stamp paper duly attested by the Notary Public.

    From where the buses can be boarded in the Campus?

    The buses are parked behind T-Block and can be boarded only from there at the scheduled time and it is expected to reach there in the parking at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure of buses.

    In case of bus breakdown on the route, what will be the alternative arrangement?

    Firstly, the transport department will make the efforts for providing an alternative transport facility. However, in rare circumstances, hiring of the public vehicle, with individual/group (pool) user’s level, may also be the alternative solution at that time on reimbursement basis.

    In case of Emergencies, who can be contacted?

    All the contact numbers will be displayed in each and every bus and may accordingly be contacted at the time of emergency.

    How can a seat in bus be claimed by the authorized transport users?

    A seat number is given to every transport user on the basis of the First-Come-First-Serve basis. The student, who deposits the transport fee first, is eligible to get seat first. Depositing of transport fee does not confirm the allotment of seat in the bus. List of the transport users is displayed on every route bus with their allotted seat numbers.

    What will be the validity of Transport ID Card?

    Transport fee is always charged once for the whole academic session and it is valid upto the end of the academic session. If a student who has to go for off campus training in any of the semester; only 60% fee is charged from the users. For such student, the card and fee is valid only till the examination of the said academic semester.

    What is the complaint / feedback procedure of the transport system?

    There is a Complaint / Feedback Register, kept with the Transport Department and any kind of complaint may be lodged in it. Also there is an email ID of the Transport Manager i.e. sanjeevgupta.transport@NGFCET.edu.in that can also be used for complaint/ Feedback via electronic media.

    Is there any online access to the Transport System of NGFCET?

    Q-1. Do you have hostel facility for students?

    Ans. – Yes, we do have. We have Separate hostels for Boys and Girls.

    Q-2. How many hostels do you have?

    Ans. – We have two boys’ hostels and one girls’ hostel in campus and one off campus hostel for girls.

    Q-3. What is the capacity of your hostels for boys and girls?

    Ans. For girls we have the capacity of 100 and for boys it is 250.

    Q-4. Are you having A/C and Non A/C rooms for hostellers?

    Ans. – Yes, we have A/C as well as Non A/C rooms for hostellers.

    Q-5. On what basis the seat is allotted for hostel?

    Ans. Allotment is on the basis of first cum first service.

    Q-6. Do you have hostel accommodation with attached/ common bathrooms?

    Ans. – We have accommodation with attached bathrooms as well as with common bathrooms.

    Q.-7.What is your sharing capacity of rooms in hostels?

    Ans. – We have two seaters & four seaters’ rooms for boys and two seaters, three seaters & five seaters’ rooms for girls.

    Q-9. What types of facilities do you provide to the hostellers?

    Ans – Besides good quality and hygienic food in the mess, we provide with 24 hrs security, 24 hrs power back up, internet facility, news paper to individual rooms, laundry, sports facilities, First Aid and medical facilities etc.

    Q-10. Do you have separate mess for girls and boys?

    Ans – Yes, we have separate mess for girls and boys.

    Q-11. How is the quality of food in the mess?

    Ans – The hostel mess has been outsourced to a multinational company “SODEXO”, which provides very good and hygienic food to the hostellers.

    Q -12.  Do you engage the hostellers in other activities also?

    Ans – Yes, we have formed different committees for cultural and sports activities and functions and matches for the hostellers are organized regularly.

    Q-13. What type of basic infra structure and items are provided in the room of a hostel?

    Ans – We facilitate them with bed, study table, chair and almirah. However, individual hosteller has to procure bedding by himself/herself.

    Q-14. Are there any restrictions of timings for the hostellers?

    Ans – yes, we allow the hostellers till 7.00 pm during winters and for summer we allow upto 7.30 pm.

    Q-15. How   hosteller can go to his/her home town? Is there any system or process?

    Ans. The hostellers are allowed to go to home town with prior information to the warden in writing and for girls, hostel warden makes a call to the parents to take permission and only after that she is allowed to leave.

    Q-16. How the hostellers purchase their house hold things or things for day to day use?

    Ans – We provide college bus to the hostellers once in a week to purchase day to day needs.

    Q.-17. If some hosteller falls sick or get injured what actions do you take?

    Ans. – NGFCET has its own dispensary. We have a First Aid facility and 24 hrs availability of ambulance.  Our warden takes the hosteller with him in ambulance and gets his treatment done according to situation.

    Q-18. What about ragging?

    Ans. – We have 0% ragging in our hostels as well as in Campus. The different committees have been formulated for this purpose. We are proud to say that we have a ragging free campus.

    .Q-19. Can the hostler keep vehicle in the hostel?

    Ans. – Yes, with the written permission from the competent authorities, a hosteller can keep a vehicle in the hostel.
